Description

The rest seats, of the chair-length type which allow relaxation are generally too bulky to be easily transported by hand to places of leisure, such as beaches for example. To avoid this inconvenience, many use simple mats lying on the sand or air mattresses. But both of these devices allow only the lying position, while it is sometimes pleasant to be able to lean against. The device object of the present invention achieves this result. It thus provides greater comfort in use while having a very small footprint, which allows it to be easily transported by hand anywhere. For this, the textile tablecloth which, extended on the ground, allows it to isolate itself from it, comprises a rigid folding device capable of supporting the head or even the back of the user, according to the position which the latter adopts, l '' set can be completed by an awning serving as an umbrella. The accompanying drawings, given by way of example only, show an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
- La figure 1 est une vue en perspective de l'objet de 1'invention - La figure 2 est une vue écorchée de la rotule spéciale qui permet d'orienter l'élément parasol.- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the object of the invention - Figure 2 is a cutaway view of the special ball which allows to orient the parasol element.
As shown, the device object of the invention essentially comprises a foldable rigid support, preferably in the form of an articulated X, formed by two bars 1 and 2, the upper end of each of them being engaged in a gusset 3 secured to each of the upper corners of a piece of fabric (4) or any other flexible material thus held raised above the ground at one of its ends, when said easel is stung vertically into the ground (as shown in Figure 1)
•*__- l'ensemble de la pièce de tissu 4 qui forme le corps principal du siège de repos ainsi constitué étant étendu sur toute sa longueur à même le sol, à la manière d'une natte ou d'un matelas.• * __ - the entire piece of fabric 4 which forms the main body of the rest seat thus formed being extended over its entire length on the floor, like a mat or mattress.
On comprend que le dispositif étant ainsi organisé, l'utilisateur peut s'allonger sur la natte ainsi étendue tout en ayant, s'il le désire, la tête ou même le torse soulevé selon la position qu'il aura prise sur le dossier supporté par le chevalet 1, 2 dressé verticalementWe understand that the device is thus organized, the user can lie on the mat thus extended while having, if desired, the head or even the torso raised according to the position he has taken on the supported backrest by the easel 1, 2 erected vertically
And the transport of such a device is particularly easy because, when the easel 1, 2 is folded and when it no longer forms a linear object, it can be easily introduced, at the same time as the rolled mat 4 , in the cover 5, which here (Figure 2) is shown separate from the main mat, while it can be part of it, when it is made integral with it at one of its ends.
The device can be completed by the flexible awning 6 stretched between the bars 7 and 8 articulated using the ball joints 9 and 10 on the vertical uprights 11 and 12 adjustable in height in the yokes 13 and 14 fixed on each of the arms 1 and 2 of the easel by means of the sleeves 15 and 16. In this way, the awning 6 can be adjusted in height in the screeds which support it and in inclination thanks to the ball joints 9 and 10 which are formed (FIG. 2) by two half -shells 17 and 18 articulated on the common axis 19, applied one on the other by the spring their common face comprising the notches 23 capable of conjugating together so as to immobilize a shell relative to the other in a angular position determined under the effect of the pressure of the spring 20. One of these half-shells is secured to a vertical upright 12, the other to one of the arms 8 which carries the awning. The device being thus equipped, its comfort is increased, the orientation of the awning 6 making it possible to protect the face from the sun.
For even more efficiency, the canopy 6 is completed by the flaps 21 and 22 in front of and behind it.
The invention is not limited to the example or examples which have been described therein, any variant, considered to be an equivalence, which cannot modify its scope.
Thus the mat 4 could also be of the air mattress type, in order to increase comfort on hard floors or laden with rollers, the folding of the device being carried out in the same way after deflating the mattress. The invention can be used as a rest seat in any place where the semi-reclining position is appreciated.
