Abstract

Said apparatus set is intended to professionals and amateurs for cutting, dressing and drying the hair of a person or of an animal and makes use of: 1) the suction side of a blower (1) for sucking and fixing a lock of hair onto an appropriate heating accessory (10) thereby enabling to simultaneously cut and dress hair or a mass of hair with ease; 2) the propulsion side of the blower (1), hences blown air which will pass through a tube (2) and then through a selector gun (4) with double nozzle of which one (45) is used for a continuous cold air flow and the other one (46) is used for air reheated instantaneously by a heating body (44), and it is on said nozzle (46) or directly on an ordinary hair dryer that will be fixed a concave, elliptic, tapered casing used as a multidirectional mouth piece (5) diffusing hair at 360oC about a first accessory (10) or a brush (9) for drying and forming a hair style in a simple, practical, rapid and sound way.

Description

DESCRIPTION

Set of devices for simultaneously cutting and shaping a hairstyle as well as for drying animal hair.

There are currently several ways to work and dry a hair to achieve a hairstyle;

A considerable quantity of devices, foehns, nozzles for foehns, tips and accessories of all shapes and sizes are available on the market. These various objects are commonly used in hair salons as at home for the private. They all claim to be practical, modern and offer a solution to the achievements that concern us. However, by studying their performance a little more closely, one quickly realizes that the solutions offered, which were certainly for their time interesting, raise other problems not yet elucidated to date or do not correspond sufficient to the needs and expectations of the user. To better understand these problems and the disadvantages of these different systems and accessories for shaping the hairstyle, we will refer to different models that currently exist on the market and are regularly used.

For example :

1) The ordinary hand dryer called foehn is the most common, the least practical and certainly the most traumatic for the hair and the scalp of the existing and known systems. In fact, to speed up the drying time, the manufacturers of dryers thought that it was necessary to produce increasingly powerful and heating devices; apart from some important details and disadvantages of these systems seem to have escaped their research:

a) it is extremely unpleasant for a person to receive a hot air flow on the skin or on the scalp. b) the strands of hair surrounding the work brush are blown in unwanted directions.

c) the hair and especially the cuticles of the hair do not tolerate high temperatures very poorly. The hot air quickly consumes the hair.

d) from a microbiological point of view You must also consider that an excessively strong air flow blowing against the hair scales is degrading in the long run for the cuticles.

e) the flow of hot air arriving directly on the scalp is extremely traumatic for the internal glandular systems of the hair and the skin. It is known that these systems are sensitive to small differences in temperature (a few degrees centi¬ grades). It is therefore absurd to use hot air concentrated at high temperature, for example 130-150 degrees centigrade, commonly produced by current dryers, and to think that the glans which regulate and normalize the body temperature at 37 ° can also withstand a temperature of - 10 ° in winter and + 130 ° with warm air when drying. The danger is further increased with a hot air concentrator nozzle placed on a foehn.

4) A fourth device, according to patent No PCT CH 81/00005, consists in using a nozzle extended by a deflector rounded at its extremi¬ tee. This system also has several disadvantages compared to the present invention:

a) it does not dry the entire surface of the brush simultaneously or 360 ° around it.

b) the temperature in front of the nozzle is too high and traumati¬ health for the hair. The heat and the breath of air are greater in front of the nozzle, in the center, than at the rear of the brush in front of the deflector.

c) it only awkwardly protects the scalp since the center of the deflector itself becomes very quickly hot. In addition, the air leaving the nozzle and meeting the brush which obstructs escapes from all sides.

d) this kind of tip can only be used in one direction of operation because in the opposite direction Tair would be propelled on the scalp. e) moreover, like all known systems and accessories, it does not carry any tubing inside to capture and distribute the air adequately at 360 °.

f) it has no compression and air diffusion chamber.

g) it is neither articulated nor rotatable.

In fact, no system fully corresponds to the various criteria and indices of satisfaction desired from a practical point of view: comfort, speed, ease and health of the hair.

The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks of the state of the art or of certain inventions, and this object is achieved by the means and apparatus defined in claims 1 to 10. The drawings and figures represent, but by way of 'example only, embodiments of the objects of the invention.

Figure 1 shows all the devices according to the invention with re¬ presentation of how it will be used.

Figure 2 is the exploded view of all the devices that make up the invention.

Figure 3 shows the details of the vacuum brush and vacuum formers. Figure 4 shows the hot or cold air distribution gun and a section of this object.

FIG. 5 shows the shape of the multidirectional end piece, by way of example only, according to the invention.

Figure 6 is a side view of the multidirectional diffuser nozzle, with cutaway of a part of the housing, revealing the inner conduits used to diffuse and direct air 360 ° around this brush.

Figure 8 shows the adapter rings of the multidirectional tip on all foehn models.

Figure 10 is a view of the suction brush with groove for cutting hair. Some of these devices and accessories are completely new in design and creation and others are already part of the state of the art but will be corrected, improved and adapted to needs. The idea of using Torifice on the inlet side of Tair, therefore the suction, on the one hand and on the other hand Torifice on the outlet side of Tair, therefore the propulsion, of a blower, is current and newly used in the profession of the hairstyle.

On the other hand, the idea of using a suction brush is new. Using flexible tubes keeps the engine noise and vibrations away from the customer and user. With this system, noise nuisance is practically eliminated and the weight of the working tool is significantly reduced.

The suction and propulsion power of this mechanical and electric blower will be used for various uses, for different technical and special works such as:

1. drying hair, animal hair etc. with a flared foehn nozzle or nozzle (existing) in a simple, quick and practical manner. This nozzle will be connected to the blower by a flexible hose and can be used on the suction or propulsion side of the air.

2. the drying and the simultaneous shaping of all hairstyles by the application of new working techniques for the use of professional hairdressing salons or amateurs.

3. modern haircutting by a specific system for professionals.

Four distinct and new accessories but forming part of the same complex and set of devices are claimed by the present inven¬ tions:

1) the first called "spray gun for instantaneous flow of hot or cold air" Fig.4 actually looks like a double outlet gun, ie Tune for hot air and the other for cold air. 1) THE INSTANTANEOUS HOT OR COLD AIR SPRAY GUN

The first accessory forming part of this invention is of handy shape, light and easy to hold. 2) THE MULTI-DIRECTIONAL DIFFUSER TIP

The second accessory of the present invention relates to a nozzle which is fixed either on the hand dryer or on a blower. It is characterized by the fact that it uses Torifice on the propulsion side. It may or may not be an integral part of a hot or cold air generator. It can also be removable and nestable on all conventional dryers (foehn), on the gun or on a flexible hose 2 connected to a blower. It is planned to use it also on a rigid but partially articulated pipe. 2.3. blow the air in a circular manner to force the hair to easily wrap around the shaping brush.

The air is thus diffused and directed on the brush only, either above, below, in front and behind, hence the name of multidirectional. The distribution of air is thus ensured uniformly over the entire length of the brush, in the middle as well as at the two ends, thanks to the particular design of the conduits inside the nozzle. One thus obtains simultaneously and rationally a regularity of drying particularly uni¬ form on all the lock of hair.

4) ASPIRFORMER

Currently, the user uses an ordinary bristle brush for brushing. The major disadvantage is the great tension caused by the bristles of the brush on the hair and the scalp, which is very unpleasant for the client. In addition, the hair can not be straightened perfectly because it will become lodged between the contiguous bristles of the brush while zigzagging from left to right or from above towards the inside of the holes of these conventional brushes. With the present invention, this disadvantage no longer exists since it is by means of Tair that the hair is sucked and held around the aspirofor er which is used to shape the hairstyle. The wall of Taspiroformer being relatively smooth, the tension is gentle, the work becomes faster, easier and gives a better result.

The aspiroformer, like Taspirobrosse, consists of a handle with a connector 13 for the air suction pipe 2 and a valve for regulating the air flow 12.

Opposite the suction pipe, the handle flares to allow the fixing of formers 15 of different and interchangeable diameters. Each form consists of a fixing ring 14 which makes it solidai¬ re the handle and on which are housed a series of small parallel tubes 18, close together, making up a cylindrical volume. The tubes will be perforated or cracked 19 in certain determined places to allow the passage of the air sucked. They will be slightly thinned at their ends to allow their penetration into the mass of the che¬ want.

Like Taspirobrosse, this working tool is connected to the blower by a flexible tube placed on the suction side and fixed thanks to the connection system to the handle 13. It is during the passage of air inside the handle that the aspirated air regulator 12 intervenes. This regulator makes it possible to choose either a strong suction for thick and thick hair, or a weak suction for fine hair. The aspiroformer can also be used independently of the blower as a working accessory for drying and styling a hairstyle.

With these two new work systems used simultaneously, ca.d. Taspiroformer or Taspirobrosse and Tembout multidirectional diffuser, the hair drying time is greatly shortened, the work simplified and more precise. This way of working is less traumatic than the old methods for hair and scalp. It is faster and the hairstyle takes longer.

Claims
