Abstract

A device for displaying the liquid level in a container comprises a tubular casing (7) connected to the container wherein a display element (3, 4, 9) is arranged. In order to provide a display device for the level of a liquid held by a container, device with which an electric unit may be actuated, the display element comprises a reed relay (9) and a permanent magnet (4) for operating with the latter and carried by a float (3). Between the reed relay and the wall (13) of the container an intermediary element (12) is provided which maintains the reed relay at a sufficient distance from the wall of the container.
