Abstract
Antifraud devices intended to reserve, by means of a personal card, a right for a predetermined time slot selected by the user. The invention comprises a number of drawers the quantity of which is determined by the duration of the time slots, and which may retain one or two individual cards; the opening of each drawer is fixed in the time and is set off, as it may seen in figure 1, by the energization of an electromagnet to which it is connected; said energization is controlled by an electric clock which sends electric pulses at adjustable intervals. Among the most interesting applications of the invention, the reservation of courts by members of tennis clubs may be mentioned.
Description
DISPOSITIF ANTI-FRAUDEPOUR DES CARTES D'IDENTIFICATION ANTI-FRAUD DEVICE FOR IDENTIFICATION CARDS
Anti-fraud device to delay and regulate the passage of individual identification cards over time. The present invention relates to devices which are intended to reserve a right for a determined time slot, chosen by the user, using a personal card, and which prevent fraud in this reservation.
In the known devices used until then, the personal card is simply placed in evidence in the appropriate place, at the time slot concerned, and can be withdrawn or moved at any time by an offender.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to avoid this fraud by preventing the withdrawal of the personal card from its deposit and this, until the end of the time slot concerned. Indeed, the card, slipped into the device, remains locked up until the end of the time slot, then an electric pulse comes to release it from where. it was locked up to allow its restitution to its owner.
During these operations, the identification of the card remains possible under the transparent and rigid plastic material constituting the external structure of the device. The juxtaposition ie several of these devices allows the simultaneous reservation or not, of several different time slots by several users, an electric clock sending an electrical pulse to each of the devices at the end of the time slot ie reservation which concerns it. The duration of each time slot can thus be adjusted by this electric clock.
The present invention consists in the justaposition of these devices in which each drawer, receiving an electrical pulse at a fixed time, releases one or two cards, depending on the desired mode of use. The accompanying drawings consist of a sectional view of one of the devices (plate 1 in figure 1) allowing the principle to be appreciated, front views (plate 2 in figure 2) from above (plate 2 in figure 3) from the rear open cover (plate 3 figure 4) and in section (plate 3 figure 5) of the assembly allowing to grasp its structure and presentation, electrical diagrams (plate 4 figure 5, plate 5 figure 7, plate 6 figure 8 ) to understand how it works.
Figure 1 of the board 1 makes it possible to understand how the card 1 swiped in a box, corresponding to a time slot indicated above, comes to rest on a drawer j which retains it. The front face a of the box is made of transparent rigid plastic material to allow the identification of the swiped card. The drawer j is tied to an electromagnet i which, when it receives an electric pulse, determined over time as a function of the time slot concerned, will pull it towards it, thus allowing the card 1 to fall in the box of the low. A return spring u pushes the drawer back at the end of the electrical impulse, so that it returns to its initial position, indicated in the drawing. The bottom box, intended to receive the card which falls after opening the drawer, is largely open on the front to allow the card to be retrieved by the user. To facilitate removal, the edge of this front face is bevelled, which allows the card to tilt. The rear part is made of transparent rigid plastic material, allowing the vision of the card. The device is fixed at the top and bottom to the metal sheet metal cabinet c which ensures the rigidity of the device and contains the electrical installations. The front (Figure 2) and top (Figure 3) views of Plate 2 make it easier to differentiate between sheet metal and plastic material: the metal cabinet is composed of the bottom or cover b and part c comprising the electrical installations and now fixed the rigid plastic part a with the drawers, sixteen, in two groups of eight, in the model shown, which control the opening of the boxes, trendte two in this model. Each space can receive a card. In the model shown, a drawer therefore controls the opening of two boxes for the same time slot. An indicator light d allows, when lit, to check that the appliance is working. FIG. 4 of plate 3, representing the rear of the device, the cover being open, makes it possible to appreciate both the size and the general arrangement of the electro-mechanical installations e and f controlling the opening of the drawers. The 24-volt k battery is attached to the lower edge of the metal cabinet. All the other electro-mechanical installations e and f are fixed on a sheet metal plate itself fixed by its two lateral ends to the metal cabinet. The electromagnets i, which can be seen in section in FIG. 3 of plate 3 presenting a section of the apparatus, are fixed on the other side of this sheet metal plate at the distance required to easily control the opening. drawers j to which they are connected.
Figures 6, 7, 8, respectively boards 4, 5, 6, allow to understand the electrical operation of the device: it is supplied with 220 volts + tere. The main switch b 1 cuts the 220 volt power supply on the one hand and the 24 volt battery on the other hand Protection is provided by the fuse e 1 rated at 1 A. The H clock, 24 hours, is supplied with 220 volts: all the rest of the equipment is supplied either with rectified 24 volts (220/24 v transformer and single-phase rectifier bridge) or in 24 volts direct current through the battery. Principle: the clock H emits pulses of 2 minutes at intervals, adjustable by stops, towards the electromagnet Ex selected by the motor X. In the event of lack of mains voltage, the 24-volt battery automatically resumes l power to the device. If the mains supply returns, the battery is switched off using relay d 3. This allows the charging of this battery when the sector is present, with each pulse ie the clock. This principle avoids incorporating a battery charger that is too complicated and above all too expensive. This 1.8 Ah battery gives the device a 24 hour autonomy. The capacitor c 1 of 470 micro F allows filtering of the rectified current. The non-return diodes n2 and n3 prevent the relay d 3 from being supplied by the battery.
An axis with a finger is fixed on the axis of the motor: this one by turning actuates each of the micro switches in turn. The motor turns step by step, so there is no problem for the positioning of the microswitches. Each time the finger reaches a microswitch, the motor stops and waits for a new clock top to start again. This assumes that the time taken by the finger attached to the motor to cover the distance between two microswitches is greater than the time taken by the top of the clock, two minutes.
Ensuite on reprend à E 1.
This principle is embodied in FIG. 7 of plate 5: between two time slots, the two relays d 1 and d 2 are at rest, the motor does not turn, the finger is positioned on any microswitch. As soon as the top of the H clock (2 min) arrives, the relay 1 goes up and starts the motor: the finger then leaves the microswitch after 15 to 30 seconds of motor rotation. Relay d 2 is in turn energized: it supplies the motor in parallel with d 1. After 2 minutes, the top of the clock disappears, the relay d 1 drops out, but the motor continues to run thanks to d 2. Then after a certain time (3 to 5 minutes), depending on the speed of motor rotation, the finger arrives at the next microswitch. Relay d 2 is then cut, the motor therefore stops. The whole system waits for the next clock top in order to repeat a cycle. On board 6. Figure 8, the operation of the electromagnets is shown, so drawers. Each electromagnet is connected to the closing contact of the microswitch which corresponds to it. On this board the finger is positioned on the microswitch s 1, corresponding to the electromagnet E 1, therefore to the first drawer. When the first time slot comes to an end, the clock gives its best and excites relay d 1. The electromagnet E 1 is therefore energized and the first drawer opens. After 15 to 30 seconds the finger leaves s 1, the relay d 2 goes up, the power to E 1 is cut, the drawer closes. After 2 min, end of the clock, relay d 1 falls. After 3 to 5 minutes, the time it takes for the finger to go from s 1 to s 2, the relay d 2 drops out and s 2 is activated. At the end of the next time slot, this same cycle is repeated but with the electromagnet E 2. And so on until we arrive at Ex. Then we resume at E 1. The device, object of the invention, can be used in all cases where the possibility for several users to reserve a right to use the facilities, for fixed time slots, requires supervision which cannot be permanently ensured by a guardian. It can therefore especially be used in clubs or associations managed voluntarily; the device described according to the accompanying drawings is more particularly suitable for booking tennis courts.
