Description

Filtrierende Atemhalbmaske Filtering respiratory half mask
The invention relates to a "filtering respiratory half mask", according to the preamble of claim 1.
Dies setzt eine einfache Bauform und die Möglichkeit der maschinellen Herstellung voraus."Filtering respiratory half-masks" fulfill their protective task in commercial use in preventing the penetration of harmful substances into the respiratory organs of the wearer and in medical use, conversely, the passage of germs from the breathing air of medical personnel to the detriment of the patient. They have to be provided economically. This requires a simple design and the possibility of machine production.
(DE-OS 27 17 968)A known single-use breathing mask, a "filtering breathing half mask" in the sense of the present invention, has a cup-shaped mask body made of a multilayer. Dust and mist filtering material. The mask body is shaped in such a way that there is a tight fit over the nose, cheeks and chin of the user. The edges of the layers of the filter material are designed to seal with one another as an edge of the mask body. Headbands are attached to the edge, which has protrusions. A hot-melt adhesive is used to apply an angular and protruding shape over the uppermost nose part of the mask body. preferably made of metal nose piece attached. The nose piece is pressed on after the mask is put on and is intended to hold the mask over the nose. The material of the mask body consists of three layers: The inner layer facing the face consists of interconnected plastic fibers. The outer layer facing away from the face consists of an intimate network of plastic fibers in a binder. In between is a medium loose filter layer of loosely mixed fibers. In the original state, these layers form a flat, sheet-like material. To produce the cup-shaped mask body, it is pressed into the mask shape in a heated mold containing a corresponding cavity by means of a stamp. This creates the edge to which the headbands are attached after trimming. Apart from the complicated and expensive structure of the three-layer material, this is changed by the deep-drawing process in the manufacture of the mask body in an uneven and hardly manageable manner. As a result, the filter properties of the finished piece are not secured and are not uniform across the filtering mask. A high resistance results from the close contact of the outer layers when fibers of the filter layer get in front of and into the openings of the outer layers under the pressure of the drawing process. Due to the loose structure of the In this filter layer, there can be displacements with dangerous gaps, especially if the mask body is accidentally bent in readiness when temporarily placed or worn. The object of the invention is a "filtering respiratory half mask" which is simple in construction, remains dimensionally stable even after prolonged use, is largely insensitive to external mechanical influences and can be provided economically.
The problem is solved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. An advantageous further development is described in claim 2.
Die äußere Stützschicht aus dem grobmaschigen Kunststoffgewebe sichert eine notwendigeThe simple structure of the mask body from only two layers, the media for connecting the filter part with the outer support layer no longer have to be deformed, guarantees above all a known filter performance with a defined breathing resistance. The sensitive fibers of the filter medium are no longer shifted against each other and thereby stressed. The outer support layer made of the coarse-mesh plastic fabric ensures a necessary one
Dimensional stability, which is retained even if the respiratory half mask has been removed and compressed in between, eg carried in a pocket. The mask shape remains. Preserved even through moisture and breath and sweat. A high mechanical abrasion resistance for the filter part is a matter of course due to the material of the outer support layer. An embodiment of the "filtering respiratory half mask" according to the invention is shown in the drawing and is described below.
The mask body 1 has the known shape of the normal half masks. The result is a comfortable, tight fit over the nose, cheeks and chin of the wearer. There is sufficient free space inside that ensures undisturbed breathing.
The mask body 1, as the filtering part, consists of an inner homogeneous, solid and resistant filter part 2 made of a mixture of plastic and micro glass fibers. The filter part 2 is covered by an outer support layer 3 of the same configuration. The filter part 2 and the support layer 3 are connected to one another at the edge 4, thereby simultaneously forming a sealing edge, by welding or gluing. The preformed support layer 3 consists of a coarse-mesh fabric made of synthetic fibers with a mesh size of approximately 1.0 mm.
Eine weitere Verbindung des Filterteils 2 mit der äußeren Stützschicht 3 erfolgt über Schweiß- oder Klebepunkte 5 in der Tiefe des Maskenkörpers 1.A further connection of the filter part 2 to the outer support layer 3 takes place via welding or adhesive spots 5 in the depth of the mask body 1.
A nose clip 6 also secures the seal at this point by pressing on the nose. A head strap 8 is held on the mask body 1 by means of eyelets 7.
