Definitions
- the invention relates to a strength training device, in particular for training the back muscles, with a pivotally mounted and against a Viders force force lever on which a cushion is attached.
- the type of exercises are known by moving the upper body backwards upwards on an inclined bench under the influence of gravity. The increase in resistance is done so that an additional weight, for. B. medicine ball is held on the neck.
- the upper body is pushed backwards when the body is stretched out on the floor.
- the present invention is based on the following objective:
- the additional resistance should be freely and continuously selectable in a certain range.
- the force curve should go from a deep vert through a maximum to a lower vert again during the movement from the 90 ° angle to the stretched position. This is desirable because the body's torque is smaller at both extreme Vinkel positions.
- the practitioner should have the possibility of facilitating entry by swiveling the cushion forward and upward and being able to be held in the desired individual starting position at the beginning of the practice.
- the device according to the invention is characterized in that two levers are arranged one behind the other in the axial direction on an axis arranged in a device frame, the first of which on the axis rotatable lever on an angled lever arm carries a movable back cushion and is articulated via a connecting link to one end of an arc-shaped lever arm, the other end of which is articulated to a second lever, which arc-shaped lever arm with one end of a resistance element - adjustable along the lever arm - is connected, the other end of which is articulated in a stationary manner with respect to the device frame, the second lever being lockable on the axis in order to change the starting position of the first lever with the back cushion in any angular position with respect to the starting position of the first rotatable lever.
- the resistance force is preferably generated by a gas spring consisting of a piston / cylinder unit, which has the advantage that it allows adjustment due to the existing length limitation in the unloaded state, during which the pressure force has approximately zero vert.
- Fig. 1 is a graphical representation of the strength training device
- Fig. 2 shows a section through the axis
- An axis (2) is mounted in a device frame (1) with a bearing (3), with which a pivotable lever (8) and a boom (22) are firmly connected.
- a lever (4, 5) freely movable on this axis (2) carries a movable cushion (6) on its angled part (5a).
- This lever (5) is means of a pin (5b) via a connecting link (17) and by means of a further articulated pin (13a) movably connected to an arcuate lever arm (13). At the other end of this arcuate lever arm (13), a second lever (10) is articulated.
- a sliding part (14) with a locking device (15) slides on this curved lever arm (13).
- a gas spring (16) is articulated on this sliding part (14), while the other end is articulated on the axle (2b).
- This end of the gas spring can also be articulated on a pin of the lever (10).
- the lever (10) is fastened to a threaded sleeve (II) which is arranged on a threaded section of the axle (2) and which on the end carries a disc (9) which is fixed with respect to the device frame and with play on it
- Axially arranged counter disc (12) can generate a frictional connection.
- the connecting member (17) transmits the movement to the arc-shaped lever arm (13), whereby the gas pressure spring is compressed against resistance.
- the geometry of the levers ensures that the resulting distances between the force axes behave in such a way that a force with an arcuate shape acts on the cushion (6), ie that the torque is low at the beginning, takes a maximum after half the movement and then at a 90o angle again takes a low value.
- the lever (8) is moved forward, the angled arm (22), which is also firmly connected to the axle (2), taking the lever (21) with it when the frictional engagement is released.
- the entire lever system can be pivoted upwards without generating any resistance.
- a reaction force is created when the back is pressed against the cushion. This is expediently caught on the legs, for example with the cushion (20) shown on a boom (19).
- An inclined lying surface (18) allows more comfortable practice.

Description
Fig. 1 eine schaubildliche Darstellung des Krafttrainingsgerätes
