Abstract

Se divulga un proceso para controlar niveles de sodio y azufre en una planta de celulosa, que comprende: a) proporcionar un flujo de pulpa que comprende sulfuro y que tiene una concentración total de álcali de al menos 2 Molar; b) suministrar una porción de dicho flujo de pulpa de celulosa a un biorreactor que comprende bacterias oxidantes del sulfuro y remover el sulfuro de dicha pulpa oxidando mediante bacterias oxidantes el sulfuro a azufre elemental, c) extraer del reactor el flujo de pulpa de celulosa tratada que comprende el azufre elemental.
