Abstract
La invención tiene relación con un método y un sistema para ajustar el equilibrio S/Na de una planta de pulpa de sulfato, donde una corriente CNCG de una planta de celulosa que contiene compuestos de azufre es depurada primero con una solución de depuración acuosa que contiene un agente alcalino, produciendo así una solución de depuración acuosa agotada que contiene sulfuros, la cual es luego oxidada en un biorreactor por medio de microbios oxidantes de azufre, obteniendo así una suspensión acuosa que contiene azufre elemental de la cual el azufre elemental puede ser separado como un precipitado y la solución residual puede ser usada para reponer la solución de depurado acuosa.
