Abstract

La presente invención refiere a métodos de controlar la hibridación en plantas y de producir plantas híbridas. La presente invención también refiere a ácidos nucleicos codificando secuencias de aminoácidos de proteínas de autoincompatibilidad (SI) en plantas, y el uso de las mismas para la manipulación de SI, incluyendo producción de semillas, en plantas, particularmente de la familia Poaceae. También refiere a kits, composiciones, constructos y vectores incluyendo dichos ácidos nucleicos, y polipéptidos relacionados, elementos regulatorios y métodos, y a la expresión de genes de reconocimiento de auto-gametos en plantas y a los ácidos nucleicos relacionados, constructos, marcadores moleculares y métodos.
