Abstract
Un sistema computarizado crea y almacena una biblioteca de modelos LiDAR correspondientes a árboles estándar que tienen características determinadas. Se compara una nube de puntos de datos LiDAR de un árbol no identificado de un bosque con un nube de puntos definida por un modelo LiDAR de un árbol estándar de la biblioteca para encontrar coincidencias, una o más características del árbol estándar coincidente se asocian con el árbol no identificado.
