Abstract

Proceso para la fabricación de una lata de sección poligonal y una lata de sección poligonal, comprendiendo dicho proceso las etapas de formar, a partir de una chapa metálica, un cuerpo tubular (10) de pared lateral cilíndrica con costura longitudinal (11); expandir el cuerpo tubular (10) de la lata hacia la sección poligonal deseada, deformando su pared lateral cilíndrica, de modo de definir aristas longitudinales (12) redondeadas que concuerdan con porciones de pared lateral (13) planificadas; deformar las porciones de pared lateral (13), de modo de proveerlas de una pluralidad de extensiones de filete circunferencial (10) y de por lo menos una extensión de filete longitudinal.
