Abstract
En una red telefónica celular TDMA o CDMA que incluye una pluralidad de áreas de registración y en los casos de reselección de celda por la estación móvil entre una celda ubicada en una primera área de registración y una celda ubicada en una segunda área de registración, la estación móvil efectúa mediciones de intensidad de señal de canal de control o piloto tomando en cuenta una histéresis de reselección convencional y una adicional de registración. La reselección es llevada a cabo por la estación móvil cuando la intensidad de señal medida en el canal de control o piloto con respecto a la celda de la segunda área de registración excede la intensidad de señal de canal de control o piloto medida con respecto a la celda de la primera área de registración en la suma total de la histéresis de reselección y de la de registración. Lo antedicho vuelve mas difícil obtener una reselección de celda en el área de interregistración con el beneficio de minimizar la posibilidad de incurrir en un consumo innecesario de recursos valiosos, internase inalámbrica celular y de sistema debido al hecho que la estación móvil se desplaza alternativamente entre las dos áreas de registración.
