Abstract

La presente invención presenta un método para proteger contra la falsificación, garantizar la autenticidad o personalizar hojas preimpresas, caracterizado porque la protección o la personalización de las hojas preimpresas se logra imprimiendo micrograbados, en todas o algunas porciones impresas de las hojas, mediante un proceso de estampado en relieve que se lleva a cabo en las hojas preimpresas a una temperatura superior al punto de ablandamiento de las sustancias colorantes utilizadas para obtener la impresión en ella, y seguido de una fase de enfriamiento, correspondiendo dichos micrograbados a hologramas, figuras de difracción, imágenes o palabras. La figura 1 ilustra de forma esquemática los elementos de una máquina que se puede utilizar para tal fin.
