`Be it known that I, Lewis H, BAKER, of Tarrytown, in the county of Westchester and State of New York, have invented anew and useful Improvement in Convertible Lounges; und l do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawingsfor1ning part of this specificatioi'i, in which- Figure l, Sheet l, is a front view of invention iu n folded state oradjusted for usel as a lounge or sofa. rlhis invention relates 4to a new 'and improved construction of lounges and sofas, whereby they are made to serve various pur- ,i poses and are made milch more convenient as ordinary kind; and it consists in so constructing the lounge and combining the several parts of which it 'is composed that provision is .made for forniingadouble bed, with f lows when the device is notused as a bed, a proper head-rest retained for theextended or unfolded part ofthe device, and an adjustable wash-stand.
