Be it known that 1, Marcel M. Braun, a citizen of the United States, residing in Chicago, in Cook County, in the State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan View of a shoe showing my new design.

Figure 2 is a side elevation of the shoe partly in perspective.

The dominant feature of the present design resides in the ornamental efiect obtained by the relatively wide substantially oval shaped T-strap,

the lower half of said T-strap being surrounded by a relatively narrow band of contrasting material in the vamp of the shoe, the remainder of the vamp consisting of relatively narrow strips extending from the edges of the band to the lateral edges of the sole, and to the toe of the sole, said strips being spaced from each other, uniformly distributed over the space between the band and the sole and at uniformly small angles to each other, as shown.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
