PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE 0R SIMILAR ARTICLE Seymour Troy, New York, N. Y. Application November 26, 1938, Serial No. 81,408
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Seymour Troy, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York city, in the county of New York, and in the State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part thereof.
In the drawing:
Figure 1 is a plan view of a shoe embodying my design.
Figure 2 is a side perspective view of the shoe.
Term of patent 3%.years The characteristic features of my design reside in a shoe of the type shown, having bands of draped material extending rearwardly and downwardly from the edges of the foot opening in the upper and around to the back of the heel, the bands having parallel edges and also having narrow strips thereon disposed parallel to the edges of the bands; and an angle strap carried by said bands and having a bow at the instep.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a shoe or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
