PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE Application December 7, 1934, Serial No. 54,333
Term of patent 3 /2 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Albert F. Bancroft, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newton, in the county of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which Fig. 1 is a view in side elevation of a shoe showing my design: and
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the shoe.
The ornamental effect of my novel design resides in a wide loop-shaped band extending from the sole line at one side of the shank across the Vamp to a corresponding point on the other side of the shank and flaring in width at both ends, in combination with a folded ribbon-like element located at the throat of the vamp and having notched divergent ends which overlap the band above mentioned at spaced points in the bend of its loop.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a shoe substantially as shown and described.
