Be it knowu filmt I, FREDERIGK R. SEID- ENSTICKER, 0f West Meridu, in the county of New Haven am! Stute 0f Commeticut, 1::ne invented a new Design for Lamp-Stand B am! I (10 hereby declare the following, when akeu in connection wibh the accompunying dmwings, t0 be a full, dem. and exact description of the same, aml whiuh said drawings constitute part 0f this specification am] represent a fr0nt view.
'lhis invention relntes t0 a desigu for lamp pedestals; and it consists in the peculiar coufiguration 0t' the pedestal, as shown in the accompanying illustratiou, aud hereinafter de scribed.
The base is square, with is sides iuclined inward, und 011 the sides a tracery of scrollwork. On this hause a pillar rests. In this part of the design the pillar is of circular form, the lower portion spherical, and from thisa tapered section rises to the fount-socket, a bead interveniug between the two seclzions of the pillar.
The piliar may be used with a difl'eront: base, or the base with adifierent pillar, it only being essential 130 this design tor the base that a pilhu be present, 0x t0 the pillar that a base be present.
I claim- 1. The design fr lamppedestul, consisting 0f a square base, the sides of which incline inward, 'aud ornamented by am tracer y 0t scroIl-work, as shown in the accompanying illustratiun am). combinerl with a piilar restiug thereou.
2. The design f0r lamp-pedestal, consistiug 0t' a piilar, the lower section 0f which is 0t' Spherical form and restiugupon a base, the upper seotion of conical form, with m1 interveniug bead, as shown in the accompauyiugillustrati0n.
