Specification forming part of Design No. 9,047, dated February 22, 1876; application led February 11, 1876, [Term of Patent 3% years] To all whom it may concern:

t Be it known that I, HENRY HoRAN, of East Orange, Essex county, and State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a new and original Designfor a Pattern to be Inwrought into lngrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaviug a defined and thorough de' scription ofthe nature ofni y invention, and are sucient to enable any one skilled in the art of' carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The conguration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
