DESIGN FOR BEAD FOR A NECKLACE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 8,871, dated December 28, 1875;
[Term of Pa.tent 3} years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, SHUBAEL OO'r'rLE, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a Design for a Bead for a Necklace, of which the following is a specification:
lhe nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is made.
A represents the end parts of the head, which are made slightly tapering or conical, and their extreme ends are beveled or rounded ofi". Around the middle part of the head is formed a wide semicircular ring-groove, B. Around the head, at the middle part of the groove B, is a ring-bead, C.
The end parts A of the bead may be plane,
or may be grooved or ribbed longitudinally; but I do not consider this an essential feature of my invention.
