DESIGN FOR WOVEN FABRIC.
Specification forming part of Design No. 7,851, dated November 10, 1874 application filed September 5, 157 1.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM B. WEEDEN, of the city and county of Providence, in the State of .lthodc Island, have invented a new 1 )esign for Fancy ()assiinere Fabrics; and I do hereby declare that the following specification, taken in connection with the drawings making a part of the same, is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
The design resides in the effect produced from the combination of the peculiarly composed stripes A, with alternate plain stripes B. The stripes A are composed of narrow stripes of so-called erapeeord weaving aa a, alternating with narrow stripes of plain weaving b b, the said stripes A being crossed at regular intervals with the transverse bars 0. The stripes B are woven plain, and alternate with the stripes A, which latter are so arranged that the crossbar-s c, of alternate stripes only, shall coincide with the some transverse line.
The fabric ma be made in any preferred variety or combination 01' colors, for giving, effect to the design above described, the characteristic feature of which is the corded and cross-lmrred stripes A, in colnbinnlion with the plain stripes ll.
