DESIGN FOR BRACKETS.
Specification forming part of Design No.7,838, dated November 3,1874; application filed June l, 1874. [Term of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that we, WILLIAM H. BRIT- TON, of Milford, county of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, and OLNEY S. THAYER, of Bellingham, county of Norfolk, State of Massachusetts, have invented a Design for Brackets, of which the following is a specification:
The nature of our design is fully represented by the drawing, in which A is the body or standard of the bracket, and B the shelf. The body A is flat, and in outline or form resembles a. horn of plenty or cornucopia, having a long outwardly-sweeping curve, 0, on one side, and a short outwardly-sweeping curve, 0, on the opposite side, these curves terminating at their upper ends in the points 0 f. Between the point f and the table B the edge or outline d is convex, the opposite side,
as, of the bracket being nearly straight. The table B has straight sides; but the front consists of two curved projections, i 'i. as shown. The aperture z is designed for a screw in at taching the bracket to any proper support.
Having thus described our improvement, what we claim is- A design for a. bracket, the table of which has the curved projections i i, and the body of which, in its configuration, resembles a horn of plenty, having the curved edges b c, convex edge d, nearly straight side no, and points a f, substantially as described.
