DESIGN FCR A CAPE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,629, dated May 6, 1873; application filed April 8,1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, MARTIN LANDENEEa GER, Jr., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for a Garment, of which the following is a specification:

In the accompanying drawing, Figure l represents a perspective view of' a circular garment made iu accordance with my design as it appears upon the wearer, and Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of the fringe with which the said garment is ornamen ted.

The garment is of the usual shape, and is provided with a hood, A, oruamented by a row of buttons and by a bow, a, having long` pendent ends, as shown. The main feature of the design, however, is the deep fringe B, which forms a border for both the body of the garment and the hood. This fringe, as will be best observed in the enlarged view, Fig. 2,
