DESIGN FOR CARPET-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,070, dated August 20, 1872.

To all whom it may coneern:

Be it known that I, JOHN H. SMITH, of Eneld, Hartford county, Connecticut, have invented or produced anew aud original Design for a Pattern to be InWrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photograph accom` pauying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does give and convey to any onel skilled in the art of earpetweavinga defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and is suftieient to enable any one skilled in the art of earpetfweaving to use my invention.

Wlhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The eonliguration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting in the form similar to the drawing or photograph ae conipanying this specification.
