DESIGN FOR CARPET-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,066, dated August 2U, 1872.

To all whom `it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOHN 1l. SMITH, of Enfield, Hartford county, Connecticut, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photograph eccompanyng this specileation, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does giveand convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and is suieient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving to use my invention.

Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting in the form similar to the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification.
