I, CHENEY KILBURN, of Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvanie, have invented or produced a. Design for Boxes for the Tops of Bureaus, of' which the following is n specification.

Figure l is a perspective view illustrating my de sign for a box for the tops of bureaus;

Figure 2, a. plan view of the some, in outline; and

Figures 3 and 4 views of modifications.

My design relates to boxes placed on bureaus, and forming buses for looking-glass stands, and consists of' the peculiar shape and coniiguration of such boxes, as explained hereafter.

The design consists in forming the fronts of such boxes with a. number of angular feces, a b c d, 86o., instead of' making them dat or rounded, as usual.

The front of the box represented in figs. 1 and 2, for instance, is a. section of a, polygonal figure of twelve sides, the box represented in iig. 3, the section of an octagon, and the box shown in fig. 4 a section of a, fourteen-sided figure.
