The present invention relates to a design for decalcomania consisting of an ornamental pattern for transfer to the surfaces of manufactured articles which comprises a set of several separate and disconnected parts or figures, all representing conventionally in the same general style the Egyptian lotus flower in various stages of development.
As represented in the annexed'drawing the parts a and on together compose a hollow rectangular figure with the middle portions of the ends omitted, the sides and partial ends of the same being formed of narrow outer bands closely subdivided by series of transverse lines and having along the inner edges alternate series of lotus-buds and partiallyopen flowers.
Z) I) and c c are pairs of oppositely-disposed sprays,each composed of a central open flower,
with a partially-open bud and a closed bud on each side thereof.
61 and e are sprays each composed of three full-blown flowers with interposed closed buds and a stem having pairs of partially-open and closed buds arranged in groups thereon, the former having two such groups and the latter only one.
f is a spray composed of three closed buds and two intermediate partially-open buds.
g is a circular series of partially-open buds, all having their stems directed inwardly toward the common center.
h is a connected series of partially-open buds arranged in pairs disposed in opposite directions from the center of the series, with a representation of one of such buds in face View intermediate the pairs of buds.-
