DESIGN FOR A SIGN-BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,217, dated February 3, 1903.
Application filed January 3, 1903- Serial No. 137,740. Term of patent '7 yearsv T0 at whom, it may concern:
Beit known that I, JOSEPH N. EARLY, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced anew, original, and ornamental Design fora Sign-Box, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forminga part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both views.
Figures 1 and 2 are perspective views of a sign-box, showing my design.
The invention relates to signs for giving the names of the streets on which the signs are located.
The design consists of an ornamental base A, resting on ornamental brackets B, radiating from a capital 0, and from the said base A rise paneled sides D, surmounted by an ornamental head E, from which rises centrally a short post F, carrying a cap G.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The ornamental design for a sign-box as herein shown and described.
