DESIGN FOR AN ENGINE OR MOTOR FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 35,538, dated December 31, 1901.
Application filed November 11,1901. Serial No. 81,959. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, EMIL V. DITTLINGER, a
citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an Engine or Motor Frame, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact de scription, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
Figure 1 is a top view of the engine or motor frame. Fig. 2 is a side elevation. Fig. 3 is an end view.
The material or essential feature of my design consists of a rectangular central portion 1, rigid with which are the twelve-sided end portions 2, which are of equal size and rigid with the ends of the vertical extensions 3, the lower ends of which are turned horizontally. A circular elevation 5 is integral with the upper side of each of the twelve-sided extensions 2, and smaller circular projections 6 extend from the sides of the said extensions 2.
The circular projections 7 extend from the lower sides of the extensions 2 in vertical 'alinement with the extensions 5. A large circular elevation 8 projects from one side of the rectangular central portion 1, and a smaller and somewhat-tapering tubular projection 9 extends from the opposite side of the said rectangular portion.
10 indicates a number of smaller and shorter projections, which extend from the rectangular portion 1 at equal distances from the tubular projection 9.
I claim- The design for an engine or motor frame, substantially as herein shown and described.
