DESIGN FOR A CLOSET-SEAT PAD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 35,272, dated. November 5, 1901.
Application flled October 19, 1900- Se'rial No. 33,659- Term of patent 14 years.
' To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ERNEST MAASS, a subject of the German Emperor, (but having made declaration of citizenship of the United States,) residing at WVashington, District of Columbia, have in vented and produced a new and original Design for Oloset-Seat Pads; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan View of a closet-seat pad of my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the arch or horseshoe shape of the pad and sheets.
The pad consists of a block of numerous sheets 1 of horseshoe shape, mounted on a similar shaped backing 2 and provided near each extremity with a transverse row of perforations 8, and a projecting tab or flap 4 on the outer edge of each sheet just below each row of perforations 3. A forwardly-projecting securing-strip 5 is located on the front of each extremity of the pad with its lower edge in alinement with the row of perforations 3. Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design fora closet-seat pad, as herein shown and described.
