DESIGN FOR A STATUETTE.
To all 'whom t't may concern Be it known that we, OTTO KORNEMANN and JU- LiUs J'UNGBLUTH, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Ornamental Design; and we do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.
This invention and discovery relates to a new and improved design or ornamental device, intended more especially as an ornament for bars of drinking-houses, hotels, and saloons whe-re Alpine hitters is offered for sale; and consists in arranging, on a base or pedestal, a figure of a man and a representation of' a keg or cask of the Alpine hitters, as Will be hereinafter more fully described.
The accompanying drawing represents the design.
A is the pedestal, or base, which is of oblong form, with an offset, B, and moulding, O, worked thereon.
Beneath the moulding O, in front, are the Words Kornemann 85 Oo., 8 Cedar st., N. Y.
On the top stands the ligure of a man in Swiss oostuine, with a rod in his left hand, and a bunch of Alpine herbs and flowers in his right hand.
'Bo the right of the figure is a represei'itation of a keg or cask standing upon its head, with a faucet, D, near its lower end.
In the central portion are the blended flags of Switzerland and America, and on the upper portion are the words Alpine Bittere.
On the top is a neck, similar to the neck of' a jug, with a stopper, E, therein.
The whole, or any part thereof, may be made of metal, papimmcwlw, plaster, or other suitable material, painted, stained, bronzed, or colored, as may be desired.

The design, as substantially shown in the drawing, and herein described, for the purposes set forth.
