EMIL EINFELDT, OF DAVENPORT, IOWA;
DESIGN FOR A YQKEPLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,970, dated. August 20, 1901.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EMIL EINFELDT, of Dav en port, county of Scott, and State of Iowa, have invented a new and useful Design for Yoke-Plates, of which the following is a specifioation.
This invention relates to a design embodied in a Wheel having a two-part rim, and has reference more particularly to the form and configuration of the yoke-plates which space the two sections of the rim and connect them with the spokes.
The invention consists in the peculiar form and configuration of this yoke-plate, as represented in the accompanying drawings, in whioh- I Figure 1 is a perspective view of the yoke.
Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same; Fig.
3 is a vertical transverse section on the line at a of Fig. 2.
The essential or leading features of my design are the body 1, of general U shape, and the angular flanges 2 on the edges of the Application filed July 11, 1901. Serial No; 67,929. Term of patent 14 years.
same. The body is flat transversely, as at 3, inclined at its end respectively in opposite directions in the longitudinal plane of the body, as at 4, and deeply curved between its ends, as at 5, the curved central portion joining and forming continuations of the inclined end portions. The flanges 2 extend along both edges of the entire body and are parallel to each other and arranged in planes at right angles, or substantially so, to the transverse plane of the body.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a yoke-plate as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand this 17th day of June, 1901, in the presence of two attesting witnesses.
EMIL EINFELDT.
