ALBERT R. FOWLER, OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO LOUIS SCHNEIDER, OF SAME PLACE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,817, dated July 23, 1901.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALBERT R. FOWLER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Cigar-Container, of which the following is a specification.
As shown in the drawing, the design consists of a substantially rectangular box-like device open on the top and at the upper part of the front having the fiat vertical back portion A, connecting at its lower portion with a forwardly-curved part a, which merges into the horizontal bottom portion A. This bottom portion A has in the middle thereof the curved recess a, extending inwardly from its front edge, and at each enda substantially rectangularopening G The front has two upright portions a each curving downward on its upper edge to merge into the edge of the recess a. The back portion A is higher than the front portions (1 At each end of the design is a flat end portion A connecting the ends of the back portion A with the ends of the front portions or. An outwardly-tn rned horizontal extension A extends from the upper edge of each end por tion A What I claim is The design for a cigar-container, substantially as shown and described.
