DESIGN FOR A BELT-BODY OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,049, dated February 5, 1901.
Application filed September 13, 1900. Serial No. 29,970. Term of patent 3- years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM VITZTHUM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hoboken, county ofHudson, and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for BeltBodies, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to belt-bodies; and the essential feature of said invention resides in the shape and configuration of the article herein shown and described.
In the drawings forming part of this specification, Figure 1 is a side elevation of the belt-body extended out, and Fig. 2 a side elevation of the belt when disposed about the body of a wearer.
The body comprises three sections as to shape or configuration-to wit., the central section 1 and the end sections 2 3, the central section being deeper, While the end sections curve upwardly above the plane of the lower edge of the central section. cave edge A of the central section is on a larger are or segment of a circle than is the lower edge 5 of said central section, and the ends 2 and 3are gradually reduced in width as they near their termini, as clearly illustrated in Fig. 2.
Having described my invention, I claim- The design for a belt-body or similar article, substantially as herein shown and described.
