UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRI VICTOR DEGOUMOIS, OF LA CHAUX DE FONDS, SWITZERLAND.
DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,979, dated January 29, 1901.
Application filed November 24, 1900. Serial No. 37,695. Term of patent 14. years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRI VICTOR DEGOU- MOIS, a citizen of the Republic of Switzerland, and a resident of La ChauX de Fonds, Switzerland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Watchcase,of which the following is a specification.
I have illustrated the design in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l is a front View, and Fig. 2 a back view.
The leading feature of the design consists in the ornamentation, as shown in the drawings.
On the center of the back of the Watch is an open Bible at, placed against some Greek letters and surrounded by rays 1). Around the Bible and rays is a circular plain band or garter divided by shields into panels 0. Below the garter is a representation of two palms d, tied together and supporting a torch e, the upper portion of which appears at the top of the watch with fiamesf. Above the garter is a band arranged in folds. The rim surrounding the dial is ornamented with palms and laurel-leaves and the representation of flames, as shown in Fig. l.
I claim The design for a watehcase as herein shown and described.
