DESIGN FOR SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,427, dated November 12, 1889.
Application filed March 28, 1389. Serial No. 305,176. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY J. SMITH, of Pittsburg,in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, haveinvented a new and original Design for 'lable-Vl are, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in Which- Figures 1 and 2 are perspective views of glass vessels provided with my design.
Like symbols of reference indicate like parts in each.
The design consists in a glass vessel of table-Ware having at the base of the hollow body portion thereof a peripheral series of projecting bosses,which are partly above and partly below such body portion.
In the accompanying drawings, 2 is the body of the vessel, and 3 3 are projecting spherical knobs or bosses arranged in series around the vessel at the base thereof. These of the body portion 2 and partly below it, so as to impart to them the appearance of pendent knobs or drops.
4 is a star figure Within the circle formed by the knobs, having radially-directed spikes.
The design thus constituted is neat and pleasing in appearance.
In Fig. l I show the vessel provided with a foot 5 and supporting-stem G.
I claim- The design for table-ware, consisting in a glass vessel or bowl having at the base of its body portion a peripheral single series or belt of projecting knobs or bosses partly above and partly below the base-line of the body portion, substantially as shown and described.
