DESIGN FOR A BAIL-EAR.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,950, dated January 22, 1901.

Application filed December 10, 1900. Serial No. 39,445. Term of patent 14 years.

In the accompanying drawings I have shown in Figure 1 a top view of my bail-ear. Fig. 2 shows a side elevation, while Fig. 3 represents a central sectional View more clearly disclosing the united members forming my bail-ear.

As shown in the drawings, my invention comprises a dish-shaped receptacle, forming one member of my bail-ear, (marked 1,) which has its top slightly flared and is provided with the central opening 4. The lower edge 2, it is noticed, of this member is flared outward and downward. The second member, forming the remaining part of my bail-ear, comprises the dish-shaped portion 5, flared and provided with the edge 6, horizontal to the bottom of this member 5, and finally being provided with the upwardly-flared and inwardly-extending edge 3, encompassing the upward flange 2, so that these two members are united, as is shown in Fig. 3. This second member 5 is imperforate.

In Fig. 1 I have shown a top view disclosing a View of the upper portion of the upper member 1.
