dated December 4, 1900.
Application filed May 25, 1900. Serial No. 18009. Term of patent 7 veers.
To It whom if may concern:
lleit known that I, MYRON FLEMING,acitizen of the United States, and a resident of 1017 Magnolia avenue, Elizabeth, in the county of U n ion and State of New Jersey, have invented a certain newaud useful Design for a Motor Bicycle Frame, of which the following is a specification.
Figure l is a side viewof the motor-bicycle frame. right of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, there is a brace A, extending from the position of the axle of i the hind wheel of the bicycle. 'lhis braceA is forked, both tines of the fork being seen in Fig. 2, but in Fig. 1 the one hides the other. The said brace extends upward and outward, so as to terminate at one end of a motor B. The other end of the motor B is supported upon and against the back tubes Cof the frame. The remainder of the frame is old, and therefore needs no description.
Fig. Bis an end view as seen from the By my desigirl have a well-balanced bicycle and one which is attractive in appearance and ornamental, for the motor is located behind the rider, and any fumes from burning gases or oils, in case it is a gas-engine, are thrown backward, relieving the rider from disagreeable odors. Other advantages are apparent. I have constructed and used such a design, and the motor is not at all in the way of the rider.
I claim as my invention- The design of a motor-bicycle frame, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 23d day of May, 1900.
