DESIGN FOR A STEEL RANGE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,619, dated November 27, 1900.

Application filed October 24, 1900. Serial No. 34,220- Term of patent 7 years.

To all whmn it nuty concern:

Be it known that LJosEPH LEON GOBEILLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cleveland, in the county of Ouyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design in Steel Ranges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and which shows a perspective elevation of my new design.

As thus shown, the leading or material feature of the design consists in the appearance of the range as a whole, especially in front elevation, and, secondly and severally, in the ornamentation and relief features at its side and top, as indicated at 2 and 3, respectively.

The front face or surface of the main embodiment of the design is marked by massive corner-colu mns l, having ornamental enlargements at their bottom and top and standing out from the adjacent surfaces their entire length, the said columns serving apparently as posts for the structure behind them. In

keeping with these is the massive ornamentation 7, bordering the oven-door especially, as well as the distinct separate decorative pieces occupying the space between said columns at and indicated by 8, 9, and 10, respectively.

The latter decoration lies beneath border 7, very much as a pendant therefrom.

The side or end decorative feature 2, which lies outside column 1:, has a gracefully-turned border 12 at its bottom, which runs into column 4 some distance above its lower end, while its top surface is plain and flat, matching the top of the range-body in this particular.

Finally, the complete decoration 3 stands conspicuously above and entirely across the rear of the outlines of the design and is specialized by two similar disk-shaped figures 14 at its sides and middle, having each what resembles a heart-shaped figure centrally, and by a more elaborate ornamentation 15 centrally between said side figures 1%. Further than this, the said complete decoration 3 is bordered to give relief and to heighten the general effect.

What I claim is The design for a range, substantially as described.
