DESIGN FOR A POMIEL-SPRING FOR BICYCLE-SADDLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,549, dated November 13, 1900.
Application filed October 8, 1900. Serial No. 32,453. Term oipateut 7 years.
To mil whom. it muy concern:
Beit known that I, ALBERT OLESON, of Toledo, county of Lucas, and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pommel-Spring for Bicycle-Saddles; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the saine, reference being had to the aecompanying drawings, and to the figures of referenee marked thereon, which form part of this specification.
My invention has reference to a new and original design for a pommel-spring for bicycle-sadd'lesf In the drawings, Figure l is a. side elevation of my spring to disclose the design thereof. Fig. 2 is a front elevation to more fully disclose the design. Fig. 3 is a plan view of the same.
The essential feature of my new design is a spring comprising a plurality of approximately-ellipsoidal eonvolutions terminating in an eye at each end of thesprug. As shown in the drawings, l is the spring, having the ellpsoidal eonvolutions 2. These, as shown, are grad nali y reduced in size as theyapproaeh the ends of the spring, as at 3, and terminate in eyes l.
