UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
BENJAMIN l3. BREWER AND WILLIAM M. II. BURFEIND, OF SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA.
DESIGN FOR A DRAW- PLATE FOR SWAGING DENTAL CROWNS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,544, dated November 13, 1900;
Application 51 October 1?, 1900. Serial No. 33,407. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
lie it known that we, BENJAMINB. BREWER and WILLIAM M. II. BUREEIND, citizens of the United States, residing at San Francisco,
5 in the county of San Francisco and State of California, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for Draw-Plates for Swaging Dental Crowns, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In said drawings, Figure I is a plan view of the draw-plate. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section, and Fig. 3 is a cross-section on the line As shown in the drawings, the draw-plate comprises a top or plate a, having formed integral therewith the legs I) at the corners of the plate. Said plate is oblong in form and contains two series of apertures c d, there being twenty-eight apertures in each series. The apertures of each series are arranged in two rows side by side. Each of the apertures c of the first series is slightly beveled or countersunk at its upper edge, as shown at e, and smaller in diameter than the one preceding it; but the apertures (Z of the second series are grouped as to size, there being a number of them of the same size, followed by a second group of apertures all of the same size, but smaller than the apertures of the first group, and so on, there being several such groups. The rear side of the plate is formed with an arched curtain f. Said plate is also formed with a central longitudinal rib g.
The leading or material feature of our design consists in the two series of apertures, the apertures of one series diminishing in size from one aperture to the next and those of the other diminishing in size from one 0 group of apertures to the next.
Having described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to obtain by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a draw-plate, as herein 5 shown and described.
In testimony whereof we have signed our names to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
BENJAMIN B. BREWER. WILLIAM M. H. BURFEINI). \Vitnesses:
