MORRIS BORSODI, OF CINCINNATI, OHIO, ASSIGNOR TO THE LEO CANDA COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A PICTURE-EXHIBITING CABINET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,267, dated. September 25,1900,
Application filed July 26, 190()` Serial No. 24,949. Term of patent 3iA years.
To all whom t may concern.-
Be it known that I, MORRIS BoRsoDI, a citi- Zen of the United States, and a resident of Cincinnati, Hamilton county, State of Ohio, 5.ave invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Picture-Exhibiting Cabinet; and I do declare that the following is a description of the invention sufficiently clear, full, and exact to enable others skilled o in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, attention being called to the accompanying drawing, with the referencenumerals marked thereon, which forms a part of this specification.
5 The subject of this invention relates to a picture-exhibiting cabinet, Which is provided with the usual openings.
The object is to increase the usefulness as Well as to improve and enhance the appearo ance of such a cabinet by certain novel and pleasing effects obtained by certain arrangements, shape, and conligurations and appearance of surfaces, all as hereinafter described, and illustrated in the accompanying draw- 15 ing, which shows in a perspective view such a cabinet embodying my design.
The body 2 of this cabinet is substantially that of a cylinder or drum placed in a horizontal position and with parts of its side forming dat surfaces 3, 4, and 5. This body is supported on a base 6, on which it rests on its side in such a position as to bring the Hat surface 3 to the top and the adjoining sur faces 4 and 5 to the upper part of the front. Of these latter surfaces the one numbered 4 is inclined rearwardly and provided with openings surrounded by an outwardly-projecting curved shield or hood 7. The body is surrounded by a band or ledge S, arranged horizontally, and has panels of a materialcontrasting to the balance in its upperpart, particularly to eachside of hood 7, as indicated at 9 9.
Having described my invention, I claim the same as follows:
The design for a picture-exhibiting cabinet, substantially as shown and described.
