DESIGN FOR A GASKET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 32,960, dated July 17, 1900.

Be it known that I, J GEN S. NAERY, a citi zen of the United States, residing at Lafayette, in the county of Tippecanoe and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gaskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a face View of a gasket, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is an edge View.

The gasket A is annular,- with a peripheral groove a between two flanges b c.

b has fiat sides and edge, while the flange c has a rounded face ac, as shown.-

Application filed June 5, 1900. Serial No. 19,179- Term of patent 14 years.

The leading or material feature of my design consists of the two separated flanges, one with a rounded face.
