DESIGN FOR A PROTECTING-STRIP FOR WHEEL-TIRES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,381, dated March 15, 1898.
Application filed January 24, 1898. Serial No. 667,827. Term of patent 14 years.
To ail whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE H. CLARK, of Boston, county of Suffolk, and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced anew and original Design fora Protecting-Strip for Pneumatic Wheel-Tires, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 shows in side elevation my newlydesigned protecting strip for pneumatic wheel-tires, and Fig. 2 a cross-section of the strip shown in Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or characteristic feature of my design consists in acircular strip trapezoidal in cross-section.
