Be it known that I, CHARLES HENRY Sonor- BACH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Aurora, in the county of Kane and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Corsets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.

Said drawing is a perspective view of a corset embodying mydesign.

The leading or characteristic feature of my design consists of a plurality of ornamental circumferential bands or girdles, each of which has marginal raised parts separated by a central space and a distinctive intermediate central longitudinal stripe filling said space between said marginal raised parts,said bands extending around the corset, combined with bands or strips arranged'vertically and extending from top to bottom of the corset, intersecting and extending over said circumferential bands or girdles. The girdles on said girdles and are spaced at substantiallyuniform intervals around the corset, the said bands being spread apart or arranged to di- 35 verge upwardly and downwardly above and below the central smaller part of the corset.
