SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,444, dated April 3, 1906.

Be it known that I, SILAS R. DIVINE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Loch Sheldrake, in the county of Sullivan and State of New York, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Fer-rule for Flail- Sticks, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof Figure 1 is a representation in perspective of a ferrule for flail-sticks embodying my new design viewed from its lower end, and Fig. 2 isa similar representation of the same viewed at its upper end.
The ferrule comprises a hollow cylinder A, which is open at its lower end a and has a head portion 1), which closes its upper end, and in which head portion isa central annup rture 12, together with a ring 0, which a a cylindrical projection 0 extending radially from the periphery of the ring into the aperture 7) in the head I) of the cyli lhe essential feature of the described design for a ferrule for flail-sticks is a hollow cylindrical body, which is open at its lower end and has a head portion which closes its upper end, with a central annular aperture in said head portion, together with a ring which has a cylindrical projection extending radially from its periphery into said aperture in said head portion.
