L 06 K C A S E (Application flied Mar. 1, 1900.)
- UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY G. VOIGIIT, OF NINV BRITAIN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE RUSSELL & ERWIN MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A LOCK-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,392, dated March 2'7, 1900.
Application filed March 1, 1900. Serial No. 7,026. Term of patent 7 years.
To (LU whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, HENRY G. VOIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Britain, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Lock-Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The only figure of the drawing is a perspective view of a lock-case, showing my design.
As shown in the drawing, the face-plate is illustrated in full lines, while the body of the case, which of itself is old, is shown by broken lines and need not be specifically described.
The face-plate 2 has mainly parallel side edges 3 and rounded or semicircular ends 4, as shown, with ordinary screw-holes 5, concentric with the said ends. At one side edge there is a series of small V-shaped projections 20 6, the upper and lower ones of which projections are directly opposite the screw-holes At the opposite side edge of the face-plate there are two like projections 7, distributed as shown, the Whole forming a novel unitary 25 design for a lock-case.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a lock case, as herein shown 30 and described.
7 HENRY G. VOlGll'l.
