To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWIN G. MUMMERY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, county of ayne, State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and originel Design for the Wall of a Hydrocarbom Burner, of which the following is aspeciiication, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part thereof.
In the drawings illustrating m y design Figure 1 is a view in perspective of the wall of a hydrocarbon-burner embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view of the same on the line 2 2, Fig. 1.
As illustrated in the drawings, the leading and material feature of my design consists of a wall of a hydrocarbon-burner formed with a tubular body A, open at its extremities, said wall formed at the upper portion thereof with an inwardly-projecting flange a, said flange being formed with a series of recesses a in its inner edge. The body A is also formed with a series of inwardly-projeet ing vertical ribs B. The body is, furthermore, also formed with a series of annular kerfs or openings 0.
