Beit known that LCHAUNCEY A. MmHAELs, n. citizen of the `United States, and a resident of Fremont, Sandusky county, Ohio, have invented a. new and original Design for a Game- Board having shape or configuration as shown in the accompanying drawing.
The characteristic feature of my gameboard is that amusement is therein combined with instruction, the relative positions in camp of the various regiments eneamped at Chickamauga in the early part of the season A. D. 1898 being shown upon the board and the player being made in the game to visit each ef the several regiments:
Referring to the drawing herewith, the several cireles'lettered, respectively, W, R, S, and G represent starting-points for the players engaged in the game, andthe spaces with which they are connected, lettered, respectively, W', R, S', and G', represent safetyspaces. The several crosses -lin the spaces lettered Il represent the location of hospitals. Spaces lettered G II represent the location of guard-houses. The spaces lettered S show the location of saloons. The squares H, H2, H3, and Hi at the corners represent homes for the several players. 4The small circles within the spaces and numbered 1 to 45, inclusive, represent approximately the location of the individual regiments.
