To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD H. ALLISON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Fort Yates, in the county of Boreman and State of North Dakota, have invented a new and useful Game or Toy, of which the follow 1 ing is a specification.

Myinvention relates to games and toys, and has for its object to provide a game adapted to family amusement in the home of a patriotic nature and marked with patriotic emblems and colors. This object I accomplish in the manner and by the means hereinafter more fully described in detail and particularly pointed out in the claim, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which like reference letters indicate like parts in all the figures.

Figure 1 is a top plan view of my invention, some of the figures being removed. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of same, partly broken away, line as as, Fig. 1. Fig. 3 'is a detail perspective of one of the figures.

My invention consists of a square inclosure A, divided each way through the center by partitions B, forming four smaller squares C. On each side of the inclosure A an embrasnre c is made in the outer wall of one of the squares C by cutting out a piece of said wall, which piece is bent outward and downward to form a gun-platform 0'. Upon each platform 0 a circular gun-carriage D is pivotally mounted, and on each gun-carriage D is placed a gun E, the breech-block e of which is connected with the trunnions e by a piece of elastic 6 said breech-block e being provided with a projection e which extends part Way through the bore 6 Upon the floor, in front of the wall of each square 0 opposite the embrasure c, is a straight row of ten marked places 0 adapted to receive the hereinafter described pieces F. Ten pieces F, numbered upon their bottoms from 1 to 10 and shaped and colored to rep resent the soldiers of any designated nation, are adapted to be placed upon the places 0 Each of the four squares O, with its gun E and figures F, may be colored to represent a difierent nation or all may be colored to represent the United States, in which latter case the figures F should be colored to represent the enemies of the United States. If desired, a fiagstaff may be arranged, rising from the center of the inclosure A, and a United States flag float over the whole.

The operation of my invention is as fol lows The players being assembled an opponent places each players figures F upon the places 0 so that the players will not know which the numbers are. Each player loads and fires his gun E in turn until a given number of shots have been fired. The numbers on the figures F which have been knocked down are counted and the player having the highest number wins.

Having thus described my invention,what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

A game-board consisting of an inclosure having the floor and walls formed of a con- 7ov tinuous sheet of material, partitions extending entirely across and dividing the inclosure into separate compartments, an embrasure I and a gun-platforrmon each side of said inclosure formed by cutting and turning down a portion of the Wall, a gun mounted on said I platform, a series of numbered figures in each of said compartments, placed in a row near each partition, substantially as shown and described.
